Courtney attended the University of British Columbia and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Psychology and Double Minor in English & Philosophy. She followed this with attendance at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute and was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy. Courtney then went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy in 2003 from the University of Hertfordshire (London, England).  She became a Registered Clinical Counsellor in B.C in 2011. Courtney has expansive experience working in early childhood mental health and working with children with neurological differences. For 11 years she worked for the Ministry of Children & Family Development as a Child & Youth Mental Health Counsellor and is now in Private Practice. She is trained as a Certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for Anxiety Disorders with additional training working with Depression, PTSD, Childhood OCD & Psychosis.

When Courtney is not working with her clients, she is spending time outdoors with her toddler daughter, Evynn and her husband. Courtney works hard to maintain balance in her own life to make sure her physical and mental health are the best they can possibly be!
